My name is John Albert and I am a Singer-Songwriter based in Long Island New York. I have released my first single, “Shot Glass Philosophy” which has been produced by Stuart Epps, and is released through EPPS RECORDS.
I would never have thought I would get the opportunity to work with a producer of this caliber and I wanted to share with you how this whole thing came to pass. It truly is wonderful when the stars line up as they did for me.
I was reading an article about Stuart Epps being interested in finding new talent for his label Epps Music and decided to send him a demo. I felt like I had a good song to send, and I was very happy when Stuart responded with some kind words and an offer to work together. I immediately accepted.
I sent him my song as it was. There were only 2 tracks, the guitar and the vocal. Now, I knew the song was good as it was, but I was completely blown away when he sent the same song back to me, only this time there was a drum beat and a bass guitar as well as two more guitar tracks and a piano track!
“HOLY SHIT!” I said. “I FINALLY SOUND GOOD!”. I couldn’t believe how good it was. Stuart Epps, who has worked with so many big names in the music industry was playing on my song! He took my song and mixed it around and added things to it I could have never done. It still boggles my mind when I hear it.
Since I heard the song for the first time I have played it for all of my friends and family and they all loved it, so Stuart and I decided to move forward with the song and do a proper release and bring the music to the masses.
I write my music for the “Everyman”. For the blue collar workers who try hard to do a good job every day and who are not afraid to get dirty and roll up their sleeves and get the work done. I am one of those guys myself and I am proud of it. My lyrics reflect the daily struggles and the hopes and dreams of the regular guy. With Stuart Epps behind the board and playing with me I finally have something for those people to play out loud.
And here it is for you to present to your listeners and be one of the first media outlets to showcase the next big thing in music. A regular guy with great songs made better by a great producer who knows good music when he hears it.
